Our world is experiencing a time of change not felt since The Renaissance (greatly surpassing it if we’re being honest) and each level of daily life is being radically shaken. Traditional paths of learning and employment are no different, but we as a global society are still struggling to find our sea legs as we process such massive change. Vegas baby, Vegas!

The 2013 Human Resource Technology Conference (or #HRTechConf for these oh, so hip social media days) came stampeding into the Nevadan desert yesterday with all the glitz, glamour, and passion of the city acting as host. 8,000 excited attendees came expecting a few days of mind-blowing technologies and paradigm shifting ideas, and they weren't disappointed.

Armed with well over 8,000 Smart-phones, tablets, laptops, Google Glass, and more, the HRTech attendees shook up Twitter feeds far and wide. No worries if you weren't lucky enough to nab a ticket! Through modern communications and over-excited HR pros, we're all allowed a digital glimpse into the Sin City festivities.

We’ve all experienced it by now. Perhaps it was when you were at the supermarket, or while buying some new socks, or maybe it was just as you flipped through the radio presets. A glimpse of green & red, the touch of faux snow, the ring of an all too familiar melody… we may be only days past the first of October but the holiday season waits for no man.

As your mind struggles to comprehend why leaves are falling to the tune of sleigh bells, the corporate world is revving up for the most wonderful (see: hectic, stressful) time of the year, and they’re on the prowl for an army of little helpers to get the job done.
